Vintage comics, evaluated with care.
Keller Vintage Comics buys Golden, Silver, and Bronze Age comic books — from single important issues to complete collections, including inherited and estate collections — from families and estate representatives in Central and Southeast Texas.
The Collector
Why Brandon collects
Brandon Keller is best known as the author of the Tyler Rush thrillers. He is also a serious comic collector, drawn to Golden, Silver, and Bronze Age Marvel and DC books, CGC-graded comics, and the history and art of the medium.
What interests him most are books with exceptional eye appeal and older comics worth preserving — issues that have survived decades of attics, closets, and moves, and deserve to be handled and placed with care rather than sorted into a bargain bin.
The Approach
How Keller Vintage Comics works
- Photographs first. You share photos and a short description. Nothing is scheduled until the collection has been reviewed.
- In-person inspection for worthwhile collections. Condition decides value, so a firm offer comes only after the books are seen in hand.
- Straightforward, no-pressure offers. You get a clear offer and time to consider it. Declining is always fine.
- Privacy and respect. Your information is used only to respond to you, and the books are handled carefully.
What We Look For
Comics of interest
Golden Age
Roughly the late 1930s to the mid-1950s: the first superhero, crime, horror, and war titles. Scarce in any condition.
Silver Age
Roughly the mid-1950s to 1970, when Marvel and DC introduced many of today’s best-known characters.
Bronze Age
Roughly 1970 to the mid-1980s. Generally, comics published before 1985 are of interest.
Collections of any shape
Complete or partial runs, inherited and estate collections, raw (ungraded) books, CGC-graded books, and related vintage comic material when appropriate.
Keller Vintage Comics does not operate a storefront and does not currently sell comics online.
Selling a Collection?
Start with a few photographs.
Tell us what you have and where it is. If the collection looks like a good fit, we’ll ask for more photos or arrange a time to see it in person. Serving Brenham, College Station, Houston, Austin, and surrounding communities. Travel elsewhere in Texas may be considered for significant collections.
